Thrift Store Donation Guidelines
We genuinely appreciate all the support the community provides to Hope House.
We accept donations any day the thrift store is open from 9 am – 1 pm.
Please make sure all donated items are in working order with little/no damage.
Accepted Donation Items
- Household Items
- Lamps, Rugs, Pictures, clocks
- Small Kitchen Appliances
- Books, CDs, DVD’s
- In Season Clothing (we limit to 5 white 13-gallon bags each trip).
- Furniture – must have no rips, stains, or wear marks
- Toys and Games
- Jewelry
- Holiday Decorations
- Flat-screen TV’s only
- Christmas trees are accepted after October 15th.
- Wheelchairs, Walkers, Bedside Commodes, Shower Chairs
Non-Accepted Donation Items
- Hard Wired Light Fixtures (we are unable to test to verify the working order)
- Electrical Equipment such as computers, printers, routers copiers, phones
- Mattresses / Box Springs/ Cribs / Car Seats
- Major Appliances (countertop microwaves are okay)
- Grills
- Bowling Balls
- Personal Medical Equipment
- Lawn Mowers
- Tires
- Electric Blankets
- Space Heaters
